Out Of Hours Care

At Malvern Hills Veterinary Practice we take great pride in providing continuity of care and allowing you to see the same friendly faces when you come and visit during business hours.

We have thought long and hard as to the best possible solution regarding out of hours care, and we understand that out of hours care can be a concern for many clients, not least because of the costs associated with it.

Given the size of our practice and to make sure we are available and provide the best possible care during the day, we unfortunately are unable to offer 24/7 on-call services, but as part of our continuity of care we will be offering some out of hours care. Once the surgery is closed at 6pm on a weekday we will still be available for emergencies until 7.30pm.

We have decided to partner with VidiVet in addition to our out of hours provider VetsNow in order to provide the best possible solution for you.

When we are closed, if you have any concerns, you can contact VidiVet (via the app) free of charge and within minutes a vet will send you a personalised video response about your pet’s health.

Their vets will triage your pet and advise you, if your late-night concern is urgent they will recommend you visit VetsNow, but if not, you can be reassured that it is ok to wait until we are open in the morning, giving you more consistent care, and saving you money.
