Daisy
Having graduated from Edinburgh back in 2001, I still truly love my job. Helping owners and their pets through the good times and the bad, is something I feel very privileged to be able to do. I’ve worked locally to Malvern for almost ten years, with a special interest in surgery I have experience in a range of complex soft tissue procedures together with minimally invasive keyhole surgery for routine neutering’s. I am also trained in veterinary acupuncture, a procedure which can help alleviate chronic pain in our older patients.
My dream has always been to open an independent veterinary clinic that does things a little differently – caring for both patients and their owners alike, and with an emphasis on customer care and being there to support you and your pet.
For me, a home without pets feels like something is missing. They bring so much into our lives; companionship, happiness and love, but the flip side of all that love, is how stressful it can be when they are unwell. Making the best decisions for our pets in these times, can be difficult, leaving some owners feeling conflicted and overwhelmed. And that’s why it’s so important to me to work closely with owners to build trust and understanding.
These are such exciting times for me and the amazing team I’ve put together. We can’t wait to welcome you and your pets to Malvern Hills Vets.
Daisy’s four-legged companion is the energetic Puffin, a black Labrador, while Merlin the tabby is the much-loved, but somewhat naughty, family cat.

Veterinary Nurse Receptionist
I began my veterinary nursing career at a large mixed animal practice in Newbury, where I started training as an Equine nurse. After 2 years I decided that small animal nursing was the route I wanted to pursue. I had a keen interest in anaesthesia and emergency and critical care. I returned to Malvern and carried on working at a local practice.
After 8 years of nursing I decided to take a break to start a family, and have since qualified as a canine hydrotherapist.
I’m really looking forward to taking up my new role at Malvern Hills Veterinary Practice, where I’ll be ready to greet you on reception, as well as helping out the nurses.
Outside of work I have a husband and 2 young children, who all keep me busy, as well as 2 guinea pigs, a horse and our spaniel Nellie.
Charlie Mash RVN
Veterinary Nurse
I started working in practice in 2016, and qualified as a veterinary nurse in 2021, and have been working in the Malvern area ever since.
I have a keen interest in anaesthesia and surgical nursing, and I am able to perform minor surgery such as small lump removals and stitch up procedures.
At home I have a very mischievous Chihuahua named Ozzy, Terry the tortoise, and Cats; Tiggy, Diego and the very special Arthur Spud keeping me very busy.
Katie Lloyd RVN
Veterinary Nurse
I gained my veterinary nursing degree from the University of the West of England in 2018. I enjoy all aspects of being an RVN and have a particular interest in behaviour and making trips to the vets more enjoyable for your pets.
At home I have two working cocker spaniels, we enjoy exploring new places and taking part in agility. I also have a small flock of rescue hens who keep us all entertained.
Tracy Haines RVN
Veterinary Nurse Receptionist
I have over thirty years experience as a qualified veterinary nurse in both the small animal and equine fields . Within my career path I have held Head Nurse and Managerial roles . I really enjoy the client care aspect and am passionate about helping deliver gold standard care for owners and patients alike .
Outside of work I live locally with my Husband and two border terriers Bramble and Bilbo . We love agility and walking and I also have a keen interest in wildlife photography.
Nat Holder RVN
Veterinary Nurse
I began my nursing career 18 years ago, qualified in 2009 and still love veterinary nursing.
I have done a certificate in emergency and critical care with anaesthesia and an advanced canine nursing certificate. I am currently working towards my canine clinical behaviour qualification after qualifying as a dog trainer and behaviourist with the IMDT 5 years ago. I have a keen interest in geriatric nursing, helping reactive dogs and patients that are nervous about coming to the vets.
Outside of work I love spending time with my husband, 3 children and pets. With a keen interest in walking, training and agility I have a Golden Retriever and 2 working cockers to keep me busy. I also love rescue work so I have a rescue cat, Guinea pigs and a small flock of chickens.
