We are a small, close-knit, friendly team and as a proudly independent practice we are here to provide the highest standard of care and services.
Consultations
We offer 15 minute consultations as standard, or 30 minutes for more complicated cases. You and your pet’s experience with us is of the upmost importance to us.
Our small but experienced team allows us to offer continuity of care, so you can see the same vet or nurse. We believe in building trust with our clients and their pets, so you feel comfortable and cared for.
Nurse Clinics
Our team of senior nurses are on hand to offer advice and support. In addition to weight clinics, and puppy and kitten appointments, we offer specialist senior health clinics and future clinics will include nurse lead, arthritis and pain management clinics and behaviour clinics.
Surgical Procedures
Daisy is an experienced surgeon and is able to perform many advanced soft-tissue surgeries, including laparoscopic (Key-hole) procedures, including laparoscopic spays, and some orthopaedic surgeries, with fantastic, cutting-edge equipment and facilities.
Should your pet experience an orthopaedic condition that requires more advanced surgery, in most cases, a visiting specialist will be able to treat your pet at the surgery, preventing unnecessary travel and stress for you and your pet.
Vaccinations
We offer vaccinations to protect your pets against infectious diseases, we believe prevention is better than cure.
We offer antibody titre blood tests for certain vaccinations, if you would be interested in this please discuss it with one of us
Parasite Prevention
We are happy to discuss the flea and worming requirements of your pet depending on their lifestyle.
Our preventative health care plan offers a discounted way to spread the costs of keeping your pet protected from disease.
Microchipping
Having your pet microchipped is a legal requirement for both dogs and cats, we can check your pet’s microchip or insert one if you have a new pet.
Full In-House Laboratory
We can run a wide range of blood tests and urine tests here at the practice in less than an hour, so we can get the results back to you the same day. We work closely with an external laboratory if more specialist tests are needed.
High Quality X-Ray
We have brand new, high-end x-ray equipment allowing us to take high quality x-rays in seconds.
Dental Procedures
We have fantastic dental equipment, including dental x-ray, which ensures we can perform dental procedures to the highest standard.
Medication Prescriptions
We source our medications as cost effectively as we can, so that we can offer medications at the best possible price for you.
We are happy to provide written prescriptions if you would prefer to purchase medications online.
Animal Health Certificates
Daisy is certified to complete export documentation for when you want to travel abroad with your pet for a holiday or are thinking of moving permanently.
Acupuncture & Pain Management
If your pet is suffering from arthritis and chronic pain, then acupuncture could help as an alternative or additional treatment.
Luxury Separate Wards
We want our patients to be relaxed and comfortable during their stay with us, which is why we have designed separate dog and cat wards. They are positioned a distance away from each other, so cats don’t get too stressed by being around dogs.
We have also chosen acrylic kennels with glass fronts, which are quiet and cosy to avoid the cold, noisy metal kennels that have been used for so long in practices.
We also have isolation facilities for cases with suspected or confirmed infectious disease.
